NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF GREENSBURG BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS Notice is hereby given that the City of Greensburg Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a meeting on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., in the Assembly Room at the Greensburg City Hall, 314 Washington Street, Greensburg, Indiana. The Public Hearing is to consider the following items of business: Permanent Variance A Public Hearing on a permanent variance from the provisions of the Greensburg Zoning Ordinance. The permanent variance involves the following consideration. David Bauer is requesting a permanent variance at 720 East Montgomery Road, Greensburg, Indiana, as allowed by the City of Greensburg Code of Ordinances Section 155.242(B)(2). The permanent variance involves the addition of 930 square feet to an existing accessory building which as an area of 1,350 square feet, resulting in a total area of 2,280 square feet which is in excess of the maximum area of 600 square feet permitted by the City of Greensburg Zoning Ordinance Sections 155.016 (A) (1) ) and 155.020 (C). The property is owned by David A. and Brenda J. Permanent Variance A Public Hearing on a permanent variance from the provisions of the Greensburg Zoning Ordinance. The permanent variance involves the following consideration. Carol and Cliff Nobbe are requesting a permanent variance at 310 West Fifth Street, Greensburg, Indiana, as allowed by the City of Greensburg Code of Ordinances Section 155.242(B)(2). The permanent variance involves relocating a side lot line through a separate petition for a subdivision, in such a manner that the a porch on a primary structure would encroach into the six feet wide side yard required by the City of Greensburg Zoning Ordinance Section 155.020 (A). The property is owned by Clifford P Nobbe, 310 W 5th St, Greensburg IN 47240 and described as follows: Lot Number Six (6) in Commercial Club Addition to the City of Greensburg. ALSO, the East 1/2 Vacated Home Street, Commonly known as: 210 W. Fifth St. Greensburg, IN 47240. Parcel No. 011-08262-00 The property is now zoned "R-2" - One or Two Family Residential District. Permanent Variance A Public Hearing on a permanent variance from the provisions of the Greensburg Zoning Ordinance. The permanent variance involves the following consideration. Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC is requesting a permanent variance at 2755 North Michigan Avenue, Greensburg, Indiana, as allowed by the City of Greensburg Code of Ordinances Section 155.242(B)(2). The permanent variance involves not including perimeter curbing around the entire parking lot expansion as required by the City of Greensburg Zoning Ordinance Section 155.090 (A) (1) and (B) (2), not providing five percent of the additional parking area as interior landscaping as required by the City of Greensburg Zoning Ordinance Section 155.090 (C) (2), not providing any additional trees as required by the City of Greensburg Zoning Ordinance Section 155.090 (C) (1), and to be allowed to construct a pavement section with 1^ inches of HMA surface over 4 inches of HMA intermediate over 7 inches of compacted aggregate base rather than 3 inches of asphalt combined with 8 inches of aggregate base and subgrade base as required by the City of Greensburg Zoning Ordinance Section 155.088 (E) (3) The property is owned by Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, LLC, and Indiana limited liability company, 24000 Honda Parkway, Marysville, OH 43040-8612and described as follows: Part of Section 29, township 11 North, Range 9 East, Decatur County, Indiana, being The East Half of the Southwest Quarter and Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, and the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and a strip of land 2 rods wide off of the West side of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter and all that part of the following described tract of land which lies South of the right of way of the C.C.C. & St. L.
